How to Request a Quote from LexMakeIt

At LexMakeIt, we make it fast and easy to get an accurate quote for your project. Whether you need one prototype or a full production run, here’s how to get started:

1. Send Us Your Files

Upload or email your CAD files, drawings, or photos of the part(s) you’d like us to quote.
We accept most common file types:

.STEP / .STP, .IGES / .IGS, .DXF, .DWG, .PDF

For laser engraving or cutting: .SVG, .AI, or .EPS

If you don’t have a CAD file, that’s fine — include a sketch with dimensions and we’ll take it from there.

2. Include Key Project Details

To help us give you the most accurate quote, please include:

Material (aluminum, steel, brass, acrylic, wood, etc.)

Quantity (1 prototype or production run?)

Finish / Tolerance requirements

Deadline or turnaround goals

Any special notes (assembly, engraving, color fill, etc.)

The more detail you provide, the faster and more accurate your quote will be.

3. Send Your Request

You can request a quote by:

Email your files directly to admin@lexmakeit.com

We’ll confirm we’ve received your request and get back to you — typically within one business day.

4. Review & Approve

Once we send your quote, simply review the details and approve it to move your job into production.
Need changes? We’ll revise it quickly to fit your timeline and budget.

Tips for the Best Quote

Combine multiple parts into one request if they’re part of the same assembly.

Let us know if you’re flexible on material or lead time — we can often recommend cost-saving options.

For urgent jobs, note “rush order” in your message so we can prioritize it.
