LexMakeIt was born out of a makerspace passion project,
driven by a desire to create a comfortable space equipped with high-tech tools to inspire and empower creators.
Our journey began with the goal of providing a community where innovation could flourish, but as we grew, we recognized a significant gap in the industry. There was a clear need for a professionally run and operated business that could adeptly utilize advanced manufacturing tools to produce high-quality American products. Over the years, we have dedicated ourselves to filling this void.
Our mission is to produce the best products while maintaining exceptional communication and fast shipping. We understand that time is money, and it's in everyone's best interest to get a product made and back into the customer's hands as swiftly as possible.

Doug Clarke
Director of Engineering
I'm Doug Clarke, the founder of Kre8Now Makerspace, an 8,800 sq. ft. hub in Lexington, KY, where creativity meets technology. With over a decade of experience in business operations, CNC machine design, and technical training, I've had the privilege of transforming Kre8Now into a thriving community for makers, inventors, and entrepreneurs. My leadership and expertise have been key in guiding a diverse team and maintaining a cutting-edge facility equipped with advanced CNC, machining, and woodworking tools.
Before establishing Kre8Now in 2013, I honed my skills in the US Air Force and as a civilian Field Service Engineer, specializing in flight simulation and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. My career later took me to Xometry, where I expanded my technical expertise in technical sales and waterjet technology.
My passion for innovation is evident in my participation in the Red Bull Flugtag competition, where I set a distance record in 2016. My extensive knowledge in CAD/CAM, CNC operations, and community building continues to inspire and support makers in their pursuit of creativity and innovation.
